When will Absolute 14.2 x86_64 be release? Can it be install from a 4GB USB thumb drive to a Hard Drive or do I need to use a CD/DVD?

Re: Absolute 14.2

I broke down and install Absolute 14.12 but it is the 32bit version. So I know I can do it. I'm using a 160gb Hard Drive so what I'm going to do is sda1 set to 50gb, sda2 set to 100 and sda3 set rest of space but if I need this for swap file. Right now I have no swap file and it seem to be OK but if I need one I will use it.

Here is what I have CPU Intel core 2 Duo T8100 @ 2.10 GHz and 4GB DDR 2. And I did those 2 upgrade plus interal web cam and bluetooth too.

If I have any problem I will get back.

Re: Absolute 14.2

@Paul,

Forget the E-Mail I sent cause I should have look first.

@All,

I'm going to download as soon as I start my wife computer. I will install later today. I been waiting for a good Slackware Full Install and it is here.

I will report any problem I have or get. The 14.12 version ran great.

EDIT:

Before I can install I need to know. Do I need a Linux-SWAP file?

Re: Absolute 14.2

Well I'm up and running 14.2 x86_64 and I built it without a Linux-SWAP file. It seem to be fast. And like I said I will report any problem I seem to find.

Good work Paul

Jack
