I  have a new DVD burner installed with ide-scsi emulation.  I think the ide-scsi emulation is working ok.  I can mount a CD, but no music CD's.  cdArray does not find my new burner.  For starters, I noticed that /dev/cdrom is not pointed to /dev/scd0.  Also I get a "CDROM" icon instead of a "CD-Writer" icon.  If I use the "CDROM" icon my system locks up.  Still running the 2.4 kernel.
Thanks in advance.

In answer to my own question,  cdArray looks like a script that deals with only IDE devices.  Looks like I will have to configure up my ide-scsi emulation by hand.  I will use the contents of the cdArray script for a guide.
